Testers must provide accurate information regarding their:

  • Testing experience;
  • Skills;
  • Devices;
  • Operating systems;
  • Browsers;
  • Availability; and
  • Other information required for project matching.

Providing inaccurate or misleading information may result in suspension or termination of your account.

Participation in a testing project does not guarantee that you will receive future projects or payments.

6. Client Accounts

Businesses and organisations (“Clients”) must provide accurate information about their products and testing requirements.

By submitting a product for testing, the Client represents that it has the necessary rights and authority to request testing of the product and related materials.

Clients must provide accurate testing instructions and must not knowingly provide testers with unauthorised access to systems or information.

7. Testing Projects

Each testing project may contain specific requirements relating to:

  • Testing scope;

  • Devices;
  • Browsers;
  • Operating systems;
  • Test environments;
  • Test cases;
  • Bug-reporting requirements;
  • Payment;
  • Confidentiality; and
  • Other project-specific conditions.

Project-specific requirements form part of the applicable agreement for that project.

Testers must remain within the authorised testing scope.

8. Bug Reports and Testing Results

Testers must submit honest, accurate and reproducible findings.

A submission may be rejected where it is:

  • A duplicate;
  • Not reproducible;
  • Outside the authorised scope;
  • Incomplete;
  • Fraudulent;
  • Based on expected behaviour;
  • Submitted after the applicable deadline; or
  • Otherwise inconsistent with project requirements.

TestmeQa may review, validate, categorise and reject submissions based on the applicable project requirements.

TestmeQa does not guarantee that every defect, vulnerability or usability issue in a product will be identified.

9. Tester Payments

Where a testing project provides compensation, the applicable project information will specify the payment terms.

Payment may depend on successful completion of assigned tasks and acceptance of valid submissions.

TestmeQa may withhold or refuse payment for fraudulent, invalid, duplicate or unauthorised submissions, subject to applicable law and the applicable project terms.

Specific payment timelines, rates and requirements may vary between projects.

10. Client Fees

Clients may be required to pay fees for testing or other services.

The applicable project or service agreement will specify the relevant fees, scope and payment terms.

Clients are responsible for paying agreed fees within the applicable payment period.

You must not disclose, publish, distribute, sell, misuse or otherwise make confidential information available to unauthorised persons.

12. Authorised Testing and Security

Testers may only test systems and functionality that have been expressly authorised for testing.

Unless expressly authorised as part of a project, you must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access;

  • Introduce malicious software;
  • Attempt to compromise infrastructure;
  • Access unrelated personal information;
  • Conduct security testing outside the approved scope; or
  • Test systems that have not been included in the project.

A testing assignment does not provide unlimited permission to access a Client’s systems.

13. Intellectual Property

TestmeQa owns or has the necessary rights to use its Platform, branding, software, designs, content and materials.

Clients retain ownership of their products, applications, content and other materials submitted to TestmeQa.

Testers retain ownership of their pre-existing materials.

By submitting a testing report or other project deliverable, you grant TestmeQa and the applicable Client the rights reasonably necessary to use that submission for the purposes of the applicable project, subject to any separate agreement.

14. Prohibited Activities

Users must not use the Platform to:

  • Commit fraud;

Clients remain responsible for determining whether and when their products are suitable for release or deployment.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, TestmeQa Limited will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from your use of the Platform.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Where appropriate, we will provide notice of material changes.
