Refund & Cancellation Policy

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: 7 October 2026
Last Updated: 7 October 2026

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to testing services and other paid services provided by TestmeQa Limited (“TestmeQa”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and Client Agreement.

1. Payment Before Testing

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, clients are required to pay the agreed project fee before testing activities begin.

A project is considered to have commenced when TestmeQa or an assigned tester begins performing work for the project.

2. Client Cancellation Before Testing Begins

A client may request cancellation before testing activities have commenced.

Where a cancellation is approved before work begins, TestmeQa may issue a refund of the amount paid, less any non-refundable payment-processing charges or other costs already incurred in connection with the project.

Refunds will generally be processed using the original payment method where reasonably possible.

3. Cancellation After Testing Begins

Once testing activities have commenced, a client may still request cancellation.

However, the amount refundable, if any, may depend on:

  • Work already completed;
  • Number of testers already engaged;
  • Testing time already used;
  • Payments or commitments made to testers;
  • Third-party costs already incurred;
  • Project preparation already completed; and
  • Other reasonable costs incurred by TestmeQa.

Where appropriate, TestmeQa may provide a partial refund for the unused portion of the service.

4. Completed Projects

Once the agreed testing services have been substantially completed and the agreed deliverables have been provided, payments will generally be non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or where TestmeQa determines that a refund is appropriate.

5. TestmeQa Cancellation

TestmeQa may cancel or suspend a project where:

  • The requested testing is unlawful;
  • The client does not have appropriate rights or authorisation to have the product tested;
  • Required information or access is not provided;
  • The project presents an unreasonable security or privacy risk;
  • The client violates our Terms or Client Agreement;
  • The client fails to make required payments; or
  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control prevent the project from proceeding.

Where TestmeQa cancels a project for reasons within our control and testing has not commenced, we may provide a full refund.

Where work has already commenced, any refund will be determined based on the work completed and costs incurred.

6. Project Delays

A project may be delayed where the Client fails to provide required:

  • Product access;
  • Test accounts;
  • Credentials;
  • Test data;
  • Instructions;
  • Feedback; or
  • Other necessary information.

TestmeQa will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant delays with the Client.

Delays caused by the Client may not automatically qualify for a refund.

7. Failed or Incomplete Testing

If TestmeQa is unable to substantially deliver an agreed testing service due to circumstances within TestmeQa’s reasonable control, we may, depending on the circumstances:

  • Reschedule the project;
  • Provide replacement testing;
  • Extend the testing period;
  • Provide a partial refund; or
  • Provide another reasonable remedy.

The appropriate remedy will depend on the circumstances and the extent of work already completed.

8. Tester Payments

Where testers have already completed eligible work before a client cancels a project, TestmeQa may be required to compensate those testers for qualifying work.

Such payments may be deducted from any refund due to the client where permitted by the applicable project terms.

9. Payment Processing Fees

Where a payment processor or financial institution charges a non-refundable processing fee, that fee may be deducted from a refund where permitted by applicable law and the applicable payment provider’s terms.
