Acceptable Use Policy
Effective Date: 7 October 2026
Last Updated: 7 October 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) explains activities that are prohibited when using the TestmeQa platform and services.
This Policy applies to all users of TestmeQa, operated by TestmeQa Limited (“TestmeQa”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), including testers, clients, community members and other Platform users.
This Policy forms part of the TestmeQa Terms of Service.
1. General Requirement
You must use TestmeQa responsibly, lawfully and only for its intended purposes.
You must not use the Platform in a way that:
- Violates applicable laws or regulations;
- Harms another person;
- Compromises the security of a system;
- Violates another person’s privacy;
- Misuses confidential information;

- Access unrelated websites or applications through client credentials;
- Attempt to bypass access controls;
- Attempt to gain administrator privileges without authorisation;
- Access another user’s account;
- Attempt to obtain passwords or authentication tokens;
- Test infrastructure that is not included in the project;
- Perform penetration testing without explicit authorisation; or
- Continue testing a vulnerability after being instructed to stop.
A TestmeQa project is not permission to attack or investigate every part of a client’s technology infrastructure.
3. Security Testing
Security testing is permitted only where expressly authorised as part of a project.
Unless explicitly authorised, users must not conduct:
- Penetration testing;
- Denial-of-service testing;
- Brute-force attacks;
- Credential attacks;
- Automated vulnerability scanning;
- Exploitation of security vulnerabilities;
- Malware testing;
- Social engineering;
- Phishing simulations; or
- Other activities designed to compromise a system.
Where security testing is authorised, testers must follow the specific scope, limitations and rules provided for that project.
4. Protection of Personal Information
Users must not intentionally access, collect, copy, download, publish or distribute personal information that is not necessary for an authorised testing activity.
Where personal information is accidentally exposed:
- Stop accessing the information;
- Do not copy or distribute it;
- Do not use it for any other purpose; and

5. Fraudulent Bug Reports
Users must not submit fraudulent or misleading testing results.
Prohibited behaviour includes:
- Inventing bugs;
- Deliberately creating failures and reporting them as genuine defects;

- Submitting duplicate reports repeatedly to obtain payment;
- Misrepresenting the severity of an issue;
- Submitting reports outside the authorised scope; or
- Manipulating test results.
6. Account Abuse
Users must not:
- Create accounts using false identities;
- Impersonate another person or organisation;
- Create multiple accounts to manipulate projects;
- Share accounts;

- Attempting to obtain another user’s credentials;
- Uploading malicious files; or
- Deliberately disrupting Platform operations.
8. Circumventing TestmeQa
Users must not intentionally use TestmeQa to establish unauthorised arrangements designed to avoid applicable TestmeQa fees or processes.
For example, users must not use information obtained through a TestmeQa project to move the project off-platform solely to avoid applicable TestmeQa charges.
This does not prevent users from engaging in lawful professional relationships where permitted by their applicable agreements.
9. Client Responsibilities
Clients must not use TestmeQa to request testers to:
- Perform unlawful activities;
- Access systems without permission;
- Collect information unrelated to testing;
- Conduct unauthorised surveillance;
